Cleansing balm VS oil. Is there a difference?
The only differences between a cleansing balm and an oil cleanser is texture preferences. Both types of cleansing products have the same function, that is to remove makeup, spf, dirt, and excess oil from the pores.
Do I need a cleansing balm?
The choice to include a cleansing balm in your skincare routine is completely your choice to make. If you are looking for a reason to add one to your routine, that reason can be to have an excellent makeup remover. Cleansing balms are designed to perfectly lift makeup from the pores and are a great addition to any routine, especially those who suffer with acne and clogged pores.
Will cleansing balm clog my pores?
No, cleansing balms are designed as a cleansing step to wash away cleanly. However, if you are unsure, it is always recommended in any makeup removal routine to use a double cleansing method. A double cleansing method is to cleanse twice in a row to thoroughly ensure everything is removed from the skin. For your second cleansing step, use a gentle foam cleanser.
